Nathalie welcomes you in the guest house LE RELAIS DE LA PERLE year-round, in this former vineyard house of character. Located in Franche-Comté (East of France), in the centre of the Jura, LE RELAIS DE LA PERLE is composed of five large and comfortable rooms individually decorated, elegant and cosy.

LE RELAIS DE LA PERLE is located in the Jura, in the village of Le Vernois, which is in the central part of Revermont region. Le Vernois is located on the well-known Jura’s Wine trail, in the direction of Voiteur and in the highway exit of Arlay; close to the “route nationale 1083”, less than hundred kilometres of Besançon, Dijon and hundred and half kilometres of Lyon and Geneva. Our guest house is less than 10 minutes from the city centre of Lons-le-Saunier, the Prefecture of Jura.

In this house in the base of the vineyard, the five rooms have been created in the former wine storehouse; they are composed by comfortable beds, and bathrooms with independent toilet, some have a view on the garden, with private entrance.

Le Relais de la Perle is Open All Year Round.
The maximum capacity is 15 people.
Arrivals start at 5 pm. Please let us know for late arrival (after 7 pm)
Breakfast takes place between 8.30 and 10 am, in the dining room, or outside depending on the weather.
Rooms should be left before 11 am.
Parking is free.
Pets are not allowed.
A garage may be available on request.

The Region

Côtes du jura hills and its wine, whose character is so engaging ; Le Vernois, is known for the sparkling wine (crémant) of a quality and delicacy issue: The Pearl of “côtes du Jura” for these small bubbles.

A touristic attraction, due to the beauty of the places : Château-Chalon, a small medieval village on the tope of arocky outcrop. There, the “liquid gold of the Jura”, in other words the yellow wine, is born. The picturesque and authentic blind valley of Baume-les-Messieurs surrounds the well-known “Abbaye d’Observance Bénédictine” and its Romanesque Church.

Many beautiful houses for winemakers still exist; they have an elegant roof, red stones and vault. Many castles have strong and magnificent shapes: Frontenay, Arlay, Le Pin, Lavigny, l'Etoile … Arbois, the land of Louis Pasteur, who stayed close to the house of his family. There is still the old interior and Pasteur’s laboratory. People living in Jura are welcoming; they love their region and relate its history with passion.

Many activities nearby: Ballooning for a flight over all these places, wine tasting in many caves, visit of the cheese factory in Lavigny; walking or cycling on the lanes crossing the vineyards; Opening (Percée) of yellow wine in February, International Jumping in Lons le Saunier in June, Spa in Lons-le-Saunier, golf in Val de Sorne.

Do not miss the visit of the Salines Royales in Arc et Senans, Salins les Bains, the region of the lacks : lacks of Vouglans, of Chalain, of Clairvaux, cliffs, belvederes and caves...
